Entertainment

Every big city gives endless opportunities ror entertainment. People can relax after a long day of work in different ways. Every person can find something to his liking. Night clubs, restaurants, concert halls, exhibitions, cinemas and theatres are at your disposal. You can choose anything you want. May be it is because of a large range of entertainments but during the last century theatres have certainly lost there positions.
Why have people stopped visiting theatre? Perhaps they replaced it by cinema. Cinema gives more space for reality, many people believe it to be more true-to-life as, of course, decorations, people and events on the screen are brighter than on the stage. Also the technical progress has made it easier to perform special effects of various kinds in films making them more shocking, sensational and, as a result, more appealing to the audience.
Theatre is much more complicated art as it demands great talent of actors, interesting and captivating plot. The visitor is supposed to look into his inner world, to stir something in the soul. That is a wonderful feeling.
Although theatre and cinema have much in common, they are different kinds of art at the same time. Theatre must not be neglected as it is one of the most beautiful arts which has been living and developing for centuries.
